Alex in Wonderland

This original family-friendly “Dansical” tell the story of a young boy, Alex, who dreads his homework assignment, an essay on children’s literature, because he thinks fairytales are silly girl stuff. He falls asleep in the school library and awakens to a journey through Wonderland guided by the White Rabbit, the Wolf and the Fairy Godmother that teaches him the magic of “Once upon a time…” Inspired by the Lewis Carroll classic tale Alice in Wonderland, Debbie Allen retells familiar age-old stories from a modern day point-of-view in a truly innovative and dynamic fashion teaching children valuable lessons through song, dance and amusing twists on classic characters.

With an original score by James Ingram, Diane Louie and Debbie Allen, Alex in Wonderland introduces one of Oprah’s Most Talented Kids, Kyle Jones.
